Historically, the Southern Italian coffee roasting plant. We are the most important and well-known coffee producer in Calabria and are now a company that exports the acclaimed quality of Italian coffee all over the world.

A COFFEE ROASTING PLANT BY THE SEA

Our coffee travels from all over the world to arrive in this corner of the Mediterranean embraced by the sea breeze of the strait. Here, today just as in 1949, we carefully select the varieties, processing them separately, slowly, respecting the distinctive characteristics of each one. But it is their combination that makes our blends unique. A selection of skilfully created recipes that make our coffees chosen by Italians and loved around the world.

SKILFULLY SELECTED AND CONTROLLED

The quality of Caffè Mauro is guaranteed by strict quality controls carried out at every stage of the production process. From the moment they arrive in Italy, our coffees are taken to our laboratories, where they undergo tasting tests and chemical-physical analyses, which allow our experts to skilfully combine different origins and types of green coffee to create a special sensory profile, unique to each blend.

SLOW ROASTING

At our roasting plant we create blends for the perfect espresso, choosing wisely from the best Arabica and Robusta varieties and processing them one by one and without haste. Each variety is roasted separately. Slow roasting, undertaken patiently with respect for every origin and each one of its characteristics. United with the others, it becomes a unique blend, ready to release its natural and unmistakable aroma. All in good time. Like by the sea.
